Questions Homeowners Ask

We use flat rates instead of hourly billing. You see a written price before any work begins.

We offer free estimates. There is no charge just to show up at your home.

You can tell us about gate access or parking rules when you book. We plan the visit around them.

We give a narrow arrival window. The technician also calls thirty minutes before they arrive.

Every hire passes a background check. We have twelve local technicians serving the valley.

We service single family rentals and condominiums. Landlords get clear documentation and we treat tenants with respect.

Tank models typically last eight to twelve years. The very hard water in the valley creates mineral sediment that shortens that lifespan.

A tank that leaks from its body cannot be repaired. It needs to be replaced.

If the cold water is clear, rusty hot water usually points to corrosion inside the tank. The manufacture date on the rating label will show its age.

Most homes of two to four people use a forty or fifty gallon tank. Our vans carry the most common gas and electric sizes.

Tankless models heat water on demand and are wall mounted. They usually cost more to install than a tank.

Repairs of parts such as thermostats or valves are usually done on the first visit. The technician will tell you plainly if a replacement is the better value.

Southern Nevada code requires seismic straps on water heaters. Replacements usually need a permit.

Do not relight anything or touch switches. Leave the house and call the gas company from outside first.

We have a drain cleaning special and offer ten percent off for seniors and the military. You can use one offer per visit.

The special covers one sink, tub or shower drain. Main lines are quoted separately.

Leak detection is free when Summit makes the repair. We diagnose the problem and fix it correctly the first time.

We offer a one year workmanship guarantee on all labor. Every job also includes a satisfaction guarantee.

A lifetime guarantee applies to repiping only. We never offer it on other services.
